The Scottish Association for the Teaching of English (SATE) is the national branch for Scotland of The National Association for the Teaching of English (NATE). It’s purpose is to advance English teaching in Scotland, connecting and supporting teachers in delivering the best language, literature, literacy and communication experiences possible in English classrooms.
